Kikuchi Momoko's classic 1990 album Adventure is back once more, this being the foremost reissue of the Japanese singer's best hit record. Kikuchi's cute brand of synthpop, classical and new wave results in a sparkling, upbeat mood, which takes its time to establish an idyllic pastoral scene before settling into its dance infectors. Kikuchi's voice, it should go without saying, has a youthful, playful quality to it, neatly complementing the LP's effervescent production.
