KICK - Rough 'n' Smooth EP
The only release from this Lancashire heavy rock outfit, an obscure double A-side EP on EMI. While this sank without a trace in the dark days of 1979, it's become a well-regarded and sought after item for collectors of early NWOBHM. Increasing the rarity further, this is the pre-release demo pressing
Condition is very nice, with the vinyl still shiny and the cardstock colour picture sleeve excellent apart from a tiny pinhole in one corner and a pair of very minor creases on the top seam; an earlier version of this listing had mentioned a slight pop on one song (the "non-metal" side, at that)-- well, must have been a simple speck of dust and nothing more, because a gentle yet thorough wipe with a record cleaning kit seems to have cured that completely, so bid with confidence! Anyways, an excellent example of the record that plays beautifully all the way through, but I'm starting the bidding at a very low price to reflect the initial concern, so here's your chance at a real bargain.
