Description
Kevin Ayres * Whatevershebringswesing * First.
RARE!! LP. Original 1972 UK. Harvest.
Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!!
Up for auction is this super, original 3rd album from Kevin Ayres on the Original HARVEST label.
COVER: Gatefold original EX. This is in very, very good condition for a cover which is so easily damaged or even destroyed. It is in unmolested condition. No writing. No rips. This original unlaminated cover is almost impossible to find in anything even approaching decent condition. This example is far, far better with virtually no signs of the usual storage wear.
VINYL: Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Vinyl is excellent. Shows just some very light hairlines on both sides due to removal and restorage of record to inner liner. No signs of any stylus touches whatsoever. Graded; a very strong EX.
LABELS: EX++. Almost no spindle trails, maybe one or two each side, but that’s it. No writing. No stains. Beautiful.
MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE ONE: SHVL 800 A 1
SIDE TWO: SHVL 800 B 1
STAMPERS: SIDE ONE: 1 H
SIDE TWO: 1 L - making this one of the very earliest off the press FIRST Pressings.
INNER SLEEVE: Original EMI die-cut on one side. And poly lined. NM.
AUDIO: As you would expect from vinyl this good. Just the merest hint of light static in parts, but definitely nothing obtrusive or invasive on the ear.
To sum up. This album is definitely a MUST HAVE ALBUM of very good and collectable quality, and would certainly be a great addition to any existing collection. The sounds are superb and truly classic. This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
A MUST HAVE ALBUM!!
BEST OF LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING.
