Description
KENNY DREW “Undercurrent” First Pressing Blue Note 4059 Mono Vinyl
This is the first pressing, Deep Groove, RVG stamped, P-pressing of KENNY DREW’s “Undercurrent” on the “47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 1582. Disc only, no jacket.
VINYL plays with medium to loud consistent surface noise, with pops and ticks, some repeating “swooshes.” But through the noise this is a very dynamic, powerful Blue Note first pressing. Side 2 moderately cleaner/quieter than Side 1. Many hairline marks. No distortion. No warps. Low gloss. The Deep Groove (one side) "47 West 63rd” labels show spindle marks, wear. See photos.
NO COVER, will be shipped in white jacket. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested. RECORD CLEANED ON PROJECT VCS VINYL CLEANER.
PLEASE NOTE: The description of this LP is LITERAL. If you are expecting a mint, NM, OR super clean LP, DO NOT BID ON THIS RECORD. If YOU ARE NEW TO VINYL, do NOT expect a MINT, CLEAN LP. STARTING PRICE REFLECTS CONDITION. “Surface noise, pops and ticks” EQUALS the as noted level of surface noise, pop and ticks. THANKS!!
