Original 1976 lp on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) (LM 437))
Kathryn Moses - Same.
Very scarce lp and it's a consistently sought after CBC title. A brilliant flautest she also sings on a couple of the cuts here. Her vocal on ’I Met A Special Man’ has more than a hint of Blossom Dearie hipness about it and she scats wickedly on ’Ready Or Not’. In fact this cut formed the title of the first 'Do Right!' compilation out of Toronto some time ago, showcasing some of the best Canadian dancefloor jazz music. Other cuts range from effortlessly cool funky flute jazz (‘Touch Me’) to blissful modal business (‘Prince Charming’s Brother’). Really an outstanding album in every way!
Vinyl is very clean viewed under a direct strong light with just one or two slight paper scuffs visible. No obvious sings of use and i'd say it's probably only been played a few times at the most. Jacket is very clean with no obvious wear at all. Spine is clean and complete, sharp corners and still in shrink. Appears almost as new! (ex/ex)
