Q.R.S. R.7024: KATHERINE HENDERSON with CLARENCE WILLIAMS & HIS ORCHESTRA   West End Blues/St. Louis Blues

A rare record on a rare label, this has fine cornet by Ed Allen - probably not King Oliver. Matrix/take numbers can be seen clearly in the run-off (235A/236A). A playable copy of this item - see below.

CONDITION: V- with some scratches/scuffs  and a lot of general groove wear. Side 1 has two small edge flakes, both well away from the playing area. There are no digs/gouges or cracks. Experienced collectors will know that records on this label are hard to find in any condition and this will provide reasonably comfortable listening, particularly if played on the quality equipment available today. Both labels are clear with little in the way of damage/rubbing.

Please note that we have been selling 78rpm records for over 30 years and have extensive experience in both grading and packing records of this type. For grading we use the standard system as used in the leading collectors' magazines. For mailing, we use custom made cardboard squares and boxes together with heavy-duty bubblewrap.
