Kate Bush: Cathy's Album Too - Home Demo Recordings (Unofficial) KHD-1127
Media Condition Good - which in this case is a mixture of Very Good and Fair. There is a pressing defect in the first part of side 1. A loud bump is audible (in The Kick Inside and Hammer Horror.) The rest is very good actually, apart from a smaller scratch in track 2 on side 2. Sleeve Condition Very Good (VG). Yellowish sticker residue on front, light ring mark on back, otherwise nice.
Rare stuff back in the day before the internet - when I first bought this, it was just fantastic to hear a very young Kate singing and playing her own songs and recording them onto a simple tape recorder. The sound quality is so-so, but the music ... is the sound of a star in the making. Vulnerable, somewhat naive, and still utterly talented and unique. A fascinating insight into the goings on of the teenage Kate Bush.
