KAREN DALTON - It's So Hard to Tell Who's Going to Love You the Best (Capitol '69) VG++(+)/VG++ (visual grade - see below) Way RARE femme folk-blues, melancholy and world-weary, recorded live in one night in the studio, with some excellent and sympathetic backing added later. Her cracked, seemingly on-the-edge-of-tears voice is haunting. All covers (from Jelly Roll Morton to Fred Neil), but she totally makes every song her own. Strict grading, cover/record, satisfaction guaranteed. The cover has a hint of ringwear, a couple of slightly worn corners, and a bit of wear on the back, and has NO cut-out hole. The vinyl looks near EX, with just a few light brush lines and a couple of harmless hairlines, BUT the pressing has some low level surface noise and crackle here and there, not a horror show at all, but it's there and I must mention it. NO reserve.
