There were a couple of psychedelic bands that had the name Kaleidoscope back in the late 1960's. Both UK and US had a band called Kaleidoscope and those two bands are both pretty nice psych rock groups. But the best Kaleidoscope was definitely this one which came from the Latin America. These guys were from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and one of them had a Spanish background.

I just simply love the sound of this group. Their style is extremely psychedelic and very fuzzy acid rock with English lyrics. The overall atmosphere is pretty trippy but there are some clear garage rock and pop influences on the album as well. I could choose any of these tracks as a highlight example because the whole album is so damn balanced and strong. I'm a big psych rock fan and I consider this record to be one of the best releases of the genre.

The original vinyl pressing of this LP is considered to be one of the most rare and valuable psychedelic rock records of all time. If you want the first pressing of this underground psych rock diamond you'll have to pay a few thousand dollars for it. Apparently there were just 200 copies made back in 1969.
