KAHVAS JUTE:Wide Open (Australia/Infinity SINL-934030/1971)

Original copy of one of the pinnacles of 70's Australian rock LP's. This has it all - tremendous musicianship, including two top notch guitarists in Tim Gaze and Dennis Wilson; superb bassist Bob Daisley, who later played with Chicken Shack and Uriah Heep. Additionally, all four were excellent songwriters; the level of compositional skill on the album far exceeds of virtually all other groups of the period.

The cover is VG (has some creasing along spine on front; tiny spot of cardboard showing in lower left corner; light ringwear on back and inside covers; small tear inside gatefold). The record is VG+ It has a small amount of light scufflines. It plays with a very low crackling throughout that is heard between tracks and in the quietest passages (of which their aren't many); it doesn't detract at all from the music. Most Australian pressings of the period are like this. The vinyl is as nice a copy as you will likely see.

GENERAL INFO

SHIPPING: Shipping costs will be quoted based on cost for estimated weight plus $1.00 to cover most of the cost of packing materials.

All records are packed in in between two cardboard filler pads and shipped in professional cardboard mailing boxes. All unsealed  12" records are taken out of their covers to prevent seam splitting. If there is a custom inner sleeve, the record will be put in a separate white inner. If a 7" record comes in a picture sleeve, the same procedure is followed.

GRADING: I grade records both visually and audibly. As grading is so imprecise and subjective, I don't have a set grading description like you see listed in many auction and collector magazines. My grades for  records and covers are based on the overall conditions I describe in each auction; I will note any visual defects and (for the vinyl) any non-musical sounds (pops, clicks, skips, etc.).
