Description
This is the original RVG-etched deep-groove "P"-pressing of Jutta Hipp's self-titled recording on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note 1530 (No Inc. or R). The flat-rim record is in near-new condition, with a high luster; light inaudible patterning typical of records stored for many years in the original inner sleeve; perhaps played once or twice. The cover has the Lexington Avenue address: the "frame" appears on the back - not on the front; the bottom seam has ½" wear at the spine and two neatly repaired splits, 1" at the center and 2" at the opening; the lower right corner is bumped; light foxing on the left edge of the back. Personnel includes Zoot Sims, Ahmed Abdul-Malik, and Ed Thigpen
