Description
LP record grades approximately VG to VG- condition. This is the flat edge, deep groove pressing with the "Lexington" address and RVG and Ear stamped in the trail off groove. There is a feelable scratch mark that extends across most of the playing surface on the A side. This causes some ticks and pops however sound is overall very good. Sleeve has an upper right four inch seam split (near jacket opening) and a three inch lower right seam split. Spine is intact. Minor wear around edges.
I will be slowly listing many of my LP’s from my collection of over 1,000 original pressings and 2,500 LP’s. My goal is to list around 10 new listings at the beginning of each month. Please feel free to ask me for records from your wish list.
My ratings are VG-/VG/VG+/NM. As they are from the 50’s or the 60’s, none of them are like, brand new (otherwise noted). Occasional ticks are inevitable and I try to describe the sound as much as I can.
EX/NM = record looks great, may be a few light paper scuffs, plays like new.
VG+ = fairly nice copy, may be a few light marks, occasional tick or pop, but mostly clean sound.
VG = wear, scuffing, light scratches, ticks and pops, but a very playable copy.
VG- = many scuffs or groove wear, plays with some noise, but still listenable.
I take great care of my records. When I buy a record, I immediately replace the inner sleeve with MoFi Original Master Record Inner Sleeves. Then, I place it in a cardboard sleeve that I buy from Japan. Lastly, I put the album cover and cardboard sleeve in a plastic outer sleeve that I also buy from Japan. All my records will be shipped with them, the way I keep them.
Before I play the record, at least for the first time, I use my Audiodesk Ultrasonic cleaning machine. I also use tergikleen and other cleaning solutions if it needs stronger cleaning.
