Description
This Bundle consists of Julian Cope’s first 2 solo albums and the first 2 Teardrop Explodes Albums.
The Solo Julian Cope albums “World Shut Your Mouth” (MERL37) and “Fried” (MERL48) are the original releases. Both the Teardrop Explodes Albums Kilimanjaro (PRICE 59) and Wilder (PRICE112) are 1984 reissues on the Mercury/Priceless label.
All albums generally play well, the only noticeable issues being a tiny bit of skipping on “Bill Drummond Said” on the “Fried” album and at the very beginning (and just before the end) of “Bent Out Of Shape” on “Wilder” and “Pure Joy” on the same album has a very noticeable skip towards the end of the track and “Tiny Children” has a little crackle and a tiny skip towards the beginning of “Like Leila Khaled Said” and during “And The Fighting Takes Over”
The “Kilimanjaro” album cover is partly stained both front and back, as is the inner sleeve of “Fried” (see images). Please zoom in and inspect the images as all the items are sold as seen. Not perfect, but they are over 40 years old!
