I spent the 90's collecting copies of this record (at one time had 30). This copy is easily a collective VG+, bordering on EX- and I'm well known for under-grading so that there are only GOOD surprises.
The vinyl is CLEARLY one of the rare "purplish" versions....and this becomes visible when held up to a strong light source (in this case, the sun). There are some very light surface marks on the vinyl but there is NO noise during the tracks and only a few slight bits of noise in-between a few of them. This *may be* rectified by a full VPI cleaning as there are no major scratches so probably just some dust bunnies hiding in the grooves.
The inner sleeve has NO splits. There are a few slight signs of yellowing but that's what 35-year old white paper does!
The cover looks fantastic with only two corner flaws (pictured) and a very slight bit of ring wear at the top of the back (pictured). The spine is perfectly squared (pictured)!
This has the run-out script etching "I've been looking for a guide" (pictured)!
This hasn't been played in decades until just this morning to verify/confirm the condition. A stunning copy and you'll need a time machine to find a better one!
There are ZERO returns unless you can prove that what you received was markedly different than what was advertised and even then, you pay return tracked/insured shipping. I have been buying/selling/grading vinyl for over 30 years and have had ZERO issues on ebay.
