Joy Division, Testament. A posthumous live double-LP from the Manchester pioneers. Issued in 1991, Testament includes 12 tracks recorded in Amsterdam in January 1980, 7 recorded in Preston the following month and one - "The drawback" - which has found its way in from the band's deleted first album Warsaw. 75 minutes of full-on post-punk agony and ecstasy - hear what the band sounded like before Martin Hannett got his hands on them!

This album was produced as a limited edition (this is number 57) beautifully packaged in a sombre fold-out sleeve and pressed on transparent vinyl. It's no longer obtainable anywhere - copies have been changing hands for £60+. If you let this one go, I don't know when you're going to see another!

PLEASE NOTE condition of packaging and of most of the vinyl is Near Mint. However, there is some surface noise on side 4, during track 2, "Heart and soul". The album has been well looked after and has only been played a couple of times; I suspect the noise is a pressing defect.
