Description

Joy Division Closer 12-inch LP (Tranco Pressing) - Translucent Ruby Red when held up to strong light.
Year: 1980 Label: Factory Cat No: FACT 25 Format: 12-inch LP Sleeve Type: Thick Card Outer. Printed Heavy Paper Inner with square corners. Sleeve Condition: Excellent Vinyl Condition: Excellent Vinyl Colour: Black / Translucent Ruby Red when held up to strong light.
Same black label on both sides, No differentiation between side A and side B on either label. Raised rim on edge of label.
Vinyl is dark translucent red when held up to light, not opaque like a normal black vinyl record should be. This is not a deliberate coloured vinyl but more of an ‘artifact’ of the Tranco production process which used a vinyl formulation otherwise not used in the UK
Runout etching:- Side A: FACT 25 A1 OLD BLUE ? Side B: FACT 25 B-1
All my listings are from my own record collection, most of which has not been played for 30+ years and has just been gathering dust on shelves, having been replaced by CDs and subsequently digital downloads. Some ‘shelf wear’ but vinyl has been handled properly, that is, not handled, so is nearly always in excellent/near mint condition.
All records are cleaned and play-tested prior to despatch.
