ATMOSPHERE

This is not a live concert, it is the full piccadilly radio session recorded at pennine sound studios, Oldham, June 4th 1979. There is also the tranmission sessions, central studios, Manchester July 1979.

This is an fantastic piece for the JD collector. These radio sessions have excellent alternatives such as candidate, dead souls, these days and the only mistake with different titles. Mysteries surrounds these sessions as I haven't been able to find out whether the tracks even had air play or not. For a JD collector this is a must. This is not a raw warsaw sound but it is a very natural unproduced joy division sound. Some of these tracks have been released on the 4 cd box set "heart & soul", but not all. This LP has the full sessions.
