Organ Sound (Polydor) (1970)
Record Grade: VG (has a lot of surface scratches that occasionally play with some sound between tracks and softer passages- check the soundclip for actual play between tracks)
Cover Grade: VG+ (some pressure marks and shelfwear is present)Wow. Early LP from one of the formative members of Azimuth and keyboard legend Jose Roberto Bertrami. This is a sound you may not be used to hearing from the man, however. Tons of mod type freakout jams on this LP, with over the top mohawks style organ riffs dancing over chunky drum patterns. Then in another instance, totally chill jet setter easy listening that has that signature Bertrami attanetion to detail in the keyboard effects.
Then, out of a cloud of hazed out smoke comes this complete head nod downtempo organ jam that Tribe should absolutely sample if they ever reunite, called Diamante Cor De Rosa. This track just turns my insides to goo. Azymuth completists, producrers and lovers of Brazilian music in general rejoice!
