Good British re-release.
Johnny Morris narrating several Thomas the Tank Engine stories, originally written by the Reverend W. Awdry.
This release features purple labels with boxed silver Decca logo. Part of the 'The World Of Children's Stories' series.
Condition VINYL: G+. Clean on visual inspection. Six obvious hairline marks/scratches on side 1. Side 2 is clean with no obvious major marks. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is decent throughout. Run-ins have mild static/surface noise but Johnny Morris vocals sound great on this mono record. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: G+. Colours are unfaded on laminated front. Lots of curved veinlike creases across front laminate, creases in from spine and other sides. Disc outline. Bowing to bottom right corner. Corners lightly scuffed. Edges in great shape. Spine has several mild splits. Aperture has a band of soiling and some wear. Back of sleeve has some marks all round very edges and top edge on left is lightly peeled/nicked. INNER SLEEVE: EX. Original Decca poly-lined red paper sleeve with centre hole. Minor crinkling but clean and intact.
