Description

Johnny Griffin "The Little Giant" original LP, Riverside #1149, Stereo 1959

This auction is for an original stereo copy of the 1959 album "The Little Giant" by tenor sax man Johnny Griffin. Awesome bop recording featuring Blue Mitchell on trumpet, Julian Priester on trombone, Wynton Kelly on piano, sam Jones on bass, and Albert Heath on drums. Rare stereo issue with black and silver Riverside Bill Grauer Productions label. Album is an original pressing and was obtained along with many other 50s and early 60s jazz records from  original owner. Vinyl is M- and appears unplayed with no scuffs or scratches and plenty of shine. Jacket is also M- with nice strong corners and no splits. Please see photo below. A very nice copy of this hard to find jazz LP. Will ship well packed in cardboard record mailer.
