Blue Note Records BLP-1559 - Johnny Griffin - A Blowing Session LP released in 1957. This is a deep groove pressing, there is a deep groove indentation under the labels on both sides of the record. The initials RVG are hand written and stamped in the dead wax on both sides of the record. The ear is in the dead wax on both sides of the record. The address on the labels is Blue Note Records 47 West 63rd New York 23. The condition of the record is VG+, a few scuffs but it plays great. The cover is VG with a mostly split bottom seam, writing on the back, spine wear. The laminated cover is starting to peel at the leading edge. The address on the back cover is Blue Note Records, 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. Personnel is Johnny Griffin, John Coltrane, Hank Mobley, tenor saxes; Lee Morgan, trumpet; Wynton Kelly, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Art Blakey, drums.
