Description

Blue Note Records BLP 1580 - Kenny Drew - The Congregation LP released in 1958. The condition of the record is excellent, VG+. The labels are clean; the address on the label is 47 West 63rd NYC. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder, RVG is stamped in the dead wax on both sides; the ear is etched in the dead wax on both sides. This is a deep groove pressing (see label scans). The cover, which features an Andy Warhol illustration, would be graded as near mint minus but for the name written on the back; the front cover is gorgeous, all laminate intact, no seam splits, just slight wear on the corners. Personnel is J.G., tenor sax; Sonny Clark, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Kenny Dennis,drums.
