Description

Johnny Griffin Vol. 2 Blue Note 1559 Amazing session with Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley and John Coltrane! Super rae! Seldom shows up for sale in any condition! Original pressing!!!

Disc: Deep Groove both sides! RVG , W 63 rd St NY 23, and Ear present on both sides of the disc! No R on label both sides as well. Wax is very nice. A side wax grades VG++ with a few very minor surface marks. Side B grades a strong VG+ with one small short deep mark that causes some noticeable clicks in the lead  in dead wax that are not affecting the actual music playing grooves. There are 3 minor light clicks (not very noticeable) once the music starts. Rest of surface only has some minor surface marks.   Both labels have writing on it which you can see from the pictures above.  

Cover: West 63rd St on back cover. Cover I would grade as VG- with some writing and stain on the back cover. Front cover has some tears along the opening and top (see pics). There is a 2 inch split on the bottom and a 1 inch split on the top seam along with some general spine wear. Also some one wrote the date inside the cover 1-8-64 which is when I assume the original owner may have bought the record.
