John Prine - JOHN PRINE Vintage Vinyl LP Atlantic K40357 *UK 1ST PRESSING* RARE.
For sale is this scarce UK 1st pressing of JOHN PRINE's eponymous debut album on Atlantic Records 1972 complete with original lyric insert.
Matrix numbers are K40357 A1 (side one) and K40357 B1 (side two).

Condition: Please note I am not a professional dealer, I'm just selling a few of my own records. I am not experienced in grading vinyl. I can only give an honest appraisal of the condition of this disc based on visual inspection. That said...


Sleeve: The front cover is pretty good with only light edge wear. The only real flaw is some loss in the top L/H corner where a price label has previously been removed. The back cover is less good. There is mystery staining to the lower half that partially obscures the text of the sleevenotes. Overall a G(Good) but no higher.


Insert: The lyric insert is in reasonable condition - a little wrinkled with some foxing in one corner but all completely legible. Probably a G(Good).


Inner sleeve: A plain paper sleeve in great condition - just some yellowing.


Disc: The record itself looks to be in very good condition. It is still a lustrous black with no obvious scratches or scuffs on either side. In direct bright sunlight there are a few very light superficial surface scratches and marks. I would guess that this would be a VG+.


Overall a good listenable copy of this wonderful scarce record if you can overlook its cosmetic imperfections.
