Songs: Imagine & It's So Hard

"Imagine" was originally released in the US as a 45 with cream color labels back in October, 1971. It topped at number 3 on the Billboard charts – with Cher's "Gypsies Tramps and Thieves" and Isaac Hayes "Theme From Shaft", keeping it from reaching the number one spot. The record "Imagine" sold many copies.

In 1975 Apple pressed the record again for a few months in a very short run. This time the labels had a seagreen tint and the words "Unauthorized duplication is a violation of applicable laws" added. This version is highly sought after by collectors.


The copy being offered is a beautiful one. The condition is Mint unplayed. See close up photos, with a reference photo (not included) from Bruce Spizer's book about this pressing.
