This is a Capitol US Small Hole Clear Vinyl 45 by John Lennon. Some collectors had mentioned that the record existed with a small hole instead of the regular 45 hole. I had never seen one, until now. This Clear vinyl 45 is in Mint unplayed condition, very clean and very glossy. A few of these error 45s were pressed possibly less than 100, The Norwegian Wood single had 1000 pressed.
"Woman" is a song written and performed by John Lennon from his 1980 album Double Fantasy. Written by John Lennon it is an ode to his wife Yoko Ono, which is introduced by Lennon whispering, "For the other half of the sky ", a paraphrase of a Chinese proverb, once used by Mao Zedong. In an interview for Rolling Stone magazine on 5 December 1980, Lennon said that "Woman" was a "grown-up version" of the song “Girl”.
