Up for sale is one(1) John Cougar - Self Titled Debut LP from 1979. First Pressing on Riva Records (#RVL-7401) that is STILL SEALED. THERE IS NO BARCODE. 

THIS IS A STILL SEALED ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING. This is a really nice copy. 

THIS IS NOT A MODERN DAY REISSUE, 180 GRAM RE-RELEASE OR ANY OF THAT RECORD STORE DAY CRAP. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL / VINTAGE LP.

This is before he became John Cougar Mellancamp. 

Good luck finding an ORIGINAL PRESSING THAT IS A STILL SEALED copy in the original shrink wrap.

The vinyl is assumed to be mint as this is still sealed. 

The cover shows some shelf wear typical with age. And there may be some ring wear also typical with age. There are no split seams, punch holes, cut corners, clips, stamps, etc...

There are a few minor tears / scrapes in the shrink on the front cover, other than that it's a nice tight seal. 

I obtained this LP new in the early 1980's. I never opened it.
