First pressing copy of John Coltrane's Settin' the Pace.  Sessions were recorded in 1957 and 1958 by Rudy Van Gelder- Prestige Cat. no. 7188, Bergenfield, NJ.  This is not a reissue!  It has "RVG" on the trail off on both sides of the LP, confirming it's a first pressing as well as the  yellow and black Prestige label.

Vinyl: The heavy vinyl is in great condition; I wish my camera took better photos. I'd rate it VG+.

If you are unsatisfied with the condition of the vinyl I will refund your money fully within 7 days upon request and return. Buyer pays return shipping.

The Cover: The front cover is also VG+.  The photo is free of discoloration and wear except for the predictable circular wear (see photo) and spine is perfect.

The VG back has begun to yellow slightly on edges (see 2nd photo). The photo makes it look darker (and pink), but it is white.  Notice the slight stains on the edge though. A purple stamp in upper right corner.

Comes with original paper sleeve.  Sleeve is torn on edge from sliding in and out.

If USPS doesn't work for ya, contact me for other arrangements. International shipping is ok, but it may take me longer to find time to send.

**Update about the vinyl condition: There are a couple of very light surface scratches visible which don't affect sound.  I played it last night (1/27) one last time to be sure and it sounded beautiful.  There was one light pop once in the first song; however, my players has a grounding problem so I'm not convince it wasn't just a fluke with my needle.) Still, buyers should be pleased with the condition.
