Description

The quality of this pressing is amazing. It was my understanding these tapes were lost in a fire in 1978, yet here they are the multi track tapes of the entire sun ship sessions unearthed by Michael Cuscuna, worlds greatest Jazz archaeologist. The acoustics on these records are unbelievable, thanks once again to the magic of Kevin Grey's mastering. This is a limited edition of 3500, numbered, #1498, and pressed at RTI. This copy has never been played, however there is a scratch across the front of the outer box (see photo), hence the discounted price. As always this was stored in a glass case in my listening room.
