Description

Ole's 1963 release was to be Coltrane's final LP for Atlantic before moving on to the looser reins that Impulse was to offer the saxophonist.  Some great modal jazz here, and an outstanding lineup:

Coltrane- soprano, tenor saxes
Eric Dolphy (credited "George Lane")- flute, alto sax
Freddie Hubbard- trumpet
Reggie Workman- bass
Art Davis- bass
Elvin Jones- drums

As this LP is sealed, I'm without identifiers that would assist in release info.  The "Super Saver" LP series was largely issued in the 80's/90's, but as this release lacks a barcode, we're looking at possibly leftover 70's stock, which would place this as the 1976 RE, or earlier.  To complicate matters further, there's the "1841 Broadway" address on the BC that only appeared on Atlantic LPs 1972-75. I couldn't help but notice also, that Discogs r7081576 is wrapped/sealed top to bottom, while this issue is wrapped/sealed side to side.  In any case, it's for sure a non-digitized, non-remixed recording.  Everyone loves a good mystery, so here ya go.

- LPs are always shipped with vinyl outside of LP cover, unless requested otherwise (not a good idea!).
- LPs and jackets are tucked inside new poly LP sleeve
- Inner LP poly U-sleeves are also included (now that I've re-upped!)  I'll also include original sleeve inside of LP cover, or use in-between 2 LPs if the situation arises. I may also use a paper LP sleeve to protect an LP cover if required.

I am not a fan of Mint or Near Mint grading. EX is my top grade, and I'll it put against any seller's NM item of the same.
