On side A : John Coltrane : tenor sax - Earl May : bass - Arthur Taylor : drums - Like someone in love (Van Heusen-Burke) - I love you (Porter) - Trane's slow blues (Coltrane) On side B : John Coltrane : tenor sax - Donald Byrd : trumpet (B1) - Red Garland : piano - Paul Chambers : bass - Louis Hayes : drums - Al Heath : drums (B2) - Lush life (Strayhorn) - I hear a rhapsody (Fragos-Baker)
Visual grading : record is VG still some lustre has many wispy lines on both sides and a feelable small scratch on side A track 1. Both labels have a light writing on top. Playing grading : record is VG- to VG plays fairly well with light background noise more audible in the first half of both sides. Second half plays better. Has some occasional ticks. On side A track 1 has about 25 seconds of repeated ticks due to the above mentioned scratch. Anyway the sound is loud and clear Cover grading : cover is VG has light wear to spine, edges and a bit more evident on right corners. Has nice front and light age yellowing on back
