Description
Deep groove on both sides with 203 South Washington Ave.; Bergenfield, N.J. address on both labels and the bottom of the back cover. Coltrane, tenor saxc, plays as a trio on Side A with Earl May, bass; Art Taylor, drums. Side B Coltrane plays in a Quartet format with Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Al"Tootie"Heath, drums on 1 track. On the remaining track on Side B Coltrane is joined by Donald Byrd, trumpet; Garland, piano; Chambers, bass; Louis Hayes, drums. total of 5 tracks with fine, Van Gelder sound engineering.
Cover: VG+ or Better Intact with some edge and corner wear. Very light aging on the back cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Played several times with a very small number of hshort, very light rub marks. Slight undertone of surface noise on a small part of "Lush Life". This is barely audible and very short in duration. As mentioned this has been played several time and handled with care. No surface noise other than described. Fine condition. Audibly checked .
