Description

Mega Rare LP of John Coltrane - The First Trane (Prestige 7609 - stereo)  Vintage 1960s purple label with Bergenfield NJ address and RVG on both sides - NOT a current re-issue.  Legendary 1st LP for Coltrane features Sahib Shihab, Mal Waldron, Red Garland, Paul Chambers , Al Heath and others in an acknowledged masterpiece that no serious jazz collector can be without.


The LP is in Mint/Near Mint condition with basically no marks to report and with likely all of the original shine - really really nice!  (There is a name written on the labels)  The cover is in VG++ condition with a bit of general age/shelf wear, and original rubber stamp on the back liner along with a name written twice.  NO splits, NO tape, NO stickers.  A very strong copy of a legendary classic.

The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
