Artist: John Coltrane

Title: Blue Train

Details: Deep groove, mono, W63rd, RVG and ear. No “R” on label. The cover is the original greenish-tinted version.

Cover: G front and back are decent but seams are all partially split with tape. Some age browning

LP: Generally VG to VG-. There are lots of marks and some feelable hairlines but nothing that causes dramatic disruption. The fidelity is undistorted. For most of this LP the flaws do not overpower the music. On softer tunes like “I’m Old Fashioned,” the noise is more noticeable. I also have not put this through an ultrasonic cleaner, which would probably do wonders.
