JOHN COLTRANE 'BALLADS' - ORIGINAL IMPULSE LP

John Coltrane 'Ballads' Mono LP on Impulse (A-32). Beautiful original pressing with orange & black labels and "VAN GELDER" stamp in the trail-off on each side. Laminated gatefold cover is in excellent shape with no seam splits, no laminate separation, no writing, holes, or tears. Back cover has tiny stampmark (see photo). Corners are tight; spine is intact and nicely centered. Label on side two has address label (see photo). Vinyl is in excellent, shimmering condition with only a few very light surface marks which don't affect play.

This copy is extremely unique in that the labels list the proper song titles and proper album title yet erroneously list 'The Russian Jazz Quartet' as the artist. (Yes, the music on the LP is Coltrane!)
