Description
John Coltrane - Ballads/Impulse Stereo A-32 - Original - "Van Gelder" is stamped into the dead wax on both sides.
The Record: Spindle marks on both sides, slightly more on side 2. The vinyl has some light scratches that are very clear under bright light.
Play grades at solid VG+, pushing VG++ to NM-. Solid VG+.
The Cover: About as nice as one could hope to find for the vintage. No splits. ALL of the laminate is present. There is a small section of laminate that has separated from the cover on the back opening edge, but it has not peeled entirely off as is so common with these old Impulse! albums. Cover is NM-.
Original inner sleeve included, which contains other "available" recordings from ABC-Paramount/Impulse!. VG++
Album play-graded on a VPI Scout. Album will be shipped in a anti-static inner sleeve outside the album cover to avoid seam splits during shipping.
