Description
On offer is this superb and extremely rare 6 x vinyl LP + 7" single + booklet set of 'The Atlantic Years In Mono' from John Coltrane, all unplayed from when I bought it new. I carefully opened the shrink at one side to enable access to confirm all present and then filed it away in my shelves.
Housed in lovely hard card clip case, whilst opened at one edge this has never actually been played and remains in most of the original factiry shrink wrap, only enough was removed to get access to the contents of the set. I transplanted the 'Coltrane Legacy' record into a new anti static inner sleeve when I opened the set in order to protect the record from getting scratched or dusty in the rigid card die cut sleeve it was supplied in (without a further inner), all the other LPs come in the original plain paper inner sleeves they were supplied in, 7" single in the custom die cut sleeve, and all 5 of the original albums (not the Coltrane Legacy one) come with their respective album cover inserts. I have only shown one of these in the photos (for 'The Avant-Garde') because I didn't have enough available photos on the listing, though all five are included and in perfect condition. Clearing out some stuff so this should go to a new home to use and enjoy, given that I have never played it.
I will ensure it is extremely securely wrapped and packed for safe delivery to the buyer, in a very sturdy package with plenty of padding to protect it. From a non-smoking household.
