Description
This is Impulse Records AS-40, John Coltrane And Johnny Hartman, an orange and black, ABC Records Inc. label, 2nd edition stereo issue of this great recording with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The glossy gate-fold cover has name stamps on the inner paper (see photo 4) but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with no spindle marks. An original inner sleeve is included. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this classic record. This is part of my personal collection that I will be selling (slowly) over the next few months and years. I am offering eight Coltrane Impulse titles this week.
