"In Performance"
LP, released in 1978 by Harlekin Art (Wiesbaden/Germany)
Limited and numbered Edition of 500 copies, signed by the Artist
Comes with original silkscreen cover and With a text by Yoko Ono
This is the first and most important vinyl release by Joe Jones
The performance was recorded in Wiesbaden, the home town of the Fluxus movement
It is a very special arranged performance of his own Music Machines, recorded in an old church
His Tone Deaf Music Company, as he named his arsenal of homemade instruments,
were also featured on Yoko Onos ‘Fly’ album
The cover was designed by Jones, a drawing of a hanging guitar, silkscreened in black
on white thick cardboard and wonderful to frame!
The cover and record label was individually numbered by hand
On the label Jones SIGNED with his full name
Even 500 copies were made, a part of the covers were destroyed by water damage
So it‘s one of the scarest vinyl recordings of the sounding Fluxus family
This copy is very clean by cover, still sealed in original shrinkwrap, so it‘s in mint condition!
