Description

Henderson was one of the greatest tenor sax players of the last half century.  He recorded with all the great jazz players of the hard bop era, and his recordings on Blue Note and Milestone remain timeless.  This is one of his most acclaimed recordings.  It includes brilliant performances from Henderson as well as Kenny Dorham on trumpet.  Dorham also composed three of the five tracks.  You’ll also hear Andrew Hill on piano.  Rudy Van Gelder was the recording engineer.  This beautiful collection was released on Blue Note in 1985, number BST-84152. This is a remastered reissue of the album originally released in 1964.  The vinyl is in excellent condition with its bright original luster with minimal scratches.  It plays with virtually no background noise.The album cover shows no ring wear and minimal corner and edge wear.   The original label inner sleeve is included and has all seams intact. The cover grades Excellent.
