Description
Up for bid is a rare LP, "Inner Urge," by Joe Henderson. This is a stereo press, released by Blue Note Records (BST 84189) in 1956. Here is some extra info about this LP:

LABEL DESCRIPTION: Blue/White NEW YORK USA label, Blue lettering, 1 label smeared, with etched matrix info BNST-84189-A / BNST-84189-B. VAN GELDER stamped in the dead wax on either side. Also contains ear in dead wax on either side.
LP is VG++, with faint scuffs on either side. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Side 2 has some residue on the interior label (see pictures). LP plays with some surface noise (crackle and tics). Amount of surface noise may be greatly reduced with a professional clean. Listen to a track from either side for reference, from this actual LP:
Heavy cardboard jacket is a solid VG+, with no seam splits. There is light wear on all corners. There is light wear on the bottom seam. There is light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. Includes original paper inner sleeve. This is a beautiful set! Don't miss this rare gem!
