This item is a: From a local collector, this super rare IMPACT label is a “Disc Jockey” copy, a promo record and noted as “Not For Sale” on the label. These were sent to radio stations for free so that the record could get some “air time”. The number of radio stations compared to the number of records sold over the counter at your local record store was most likely quite a difference, making these disc jockey records quite scarce. The stats are as follows. “Norther Soul / R&B” Jock Mitchell, Work With Me Annie / You May Lose The One You Love. IMPACT 1004. Gomba Music Inc, BMI, Annie: 2:13 / ZTSC-107488. You May Lose: 2:11 / ZTSC – 107489. Both produced by Duke Browner. There are a few minor scuffs on the record and a chip on the edge of the You May Lose side, but not effecting the groove. Only minor discoloration and a couple of scuffs on the label. On the work with me side there is a small arc of white coloration on the grooves, see the pic that shows the arc. No jacket. I am not a record guy, but I do know to look stuff up before I give it away at the shop…this record shot up a red flag as one to offer. See the other Promo records I’m selling this week.
