Jimmy Smith on Blue Note 1585 test pressing

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped test “P”-pressing of Jimmy Smith “Groovin’ at Smalls’ Paradise, Volume 1” on the white Plastylite labels of Blue Note BLP 1585.  Other than an inaudible superficial scuff on the first track of Side 1, the playing surface is flawless, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  No cover, as issued.

Personnel include Eddie McFadden and Donald Bailey.
