10:M Never played! No spindle marks!! *PERFECT* not a common rating.

 9:M- No marks maybe played 1 or few times, very well maintained, nice shine, no spindle marks.

 8:NM Very minor hard to detect scuffs & very little else appears, maybe paper scuffs light wear. Very light or no spindle marks

 7:NM-  Few more minor scuffs, inaudible during music, an excellent record for a collector.

 6:VG++ More scuffs than NM- not too noticeable in regular light should not effect play. Light noise in quiet passages

 5:VG+ Average vinyl. Not abused. Light wear/scratches vaguely visible or may have shicks here or there during playback.

 4:VG Plays VG with light vinyl noise, noticeable scuffs still enjoyable.

 3:G++ Moderate scratch easily visible scuffs, moderate crackle/gravel!! shicks more often still a good play. (if it’s rare, get it!!)

 2:G+ Some scratches that cause some clicks, shicks and or pops more frequently, may repeating or skip.

 1:G Heavy scratches causes pops clicks, skips "shicks" heavy repeating, We don’t sell too much of that.

 9:M-  Almost perfect, clean, age may be slightly apparent

 8:NM Looks amazing, minor signs of wear & age hard to find in this condition

 7:NM- More natural wear from being in bins since the 60's & 70's, still a must have for any collector

 6:VG++ May be close to perfect very light wear upon close inspection when really looking for it ! might be a NM- if you're not careful.

 5:VG+ Noticeable edge wear, no seam splits, crease or vague dent here or there possible, slight wear to corners, no ink wear

 4:VG Ring & edge wear, no seam splits but will occur easily if your really not gentle. more dings creases, n folds or bends

 3:G++ Very noticeable ring & edge wear, small seam splits ! If it’s a rare record you might want to grab it! the vinyl might be good.

 2:G+ Heavy ring wear, seam splits!

 1:G Really heavy ring wear, large seam splits! falling apart. Wont sell much of this either unless its a really cool record or rare.
