Description

Up for auction is an original promo only mono pressing of the Jimmy Smith 'Open House' LP on Blue Note Records BLP 8269. The other musicians include Blue Mitchell, Jackie McLean, Ike Quebec, Quentin Warren, and Donald Bailey.

Record info:

VG with moderate visual scuffs but plays way better than it looks, more VG+ for sure. It plays and sounds great!

Cover info:

VG+ with solid seams with some corner wear and some minor ringwear. The front cover has an 'Audition Mono LP Not For Sale' promo sticker.

Pressing info:

Original Division Of Liberty label, promo only mono press with Van Gelder stamp on both sides in the dead wax area.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
