Description
Hi all! Up for sale is an original copy of Jimmy's VERY FIRST 45. It is in mint condition, and has NEVER BEEN PLAYED! No scratches, no fingerprints. The songs are ""Abandoned on Tuesday" b/w "Don't Bring me Candy". It comes with it's original paper sleeve, and I mounted it in a "shadow box", (see photo), along with a photo, JB guitar pick, and a small plaque saying what it is. This 45 was recorded at Product Sound Studio in Mobile, Alabama in 1969, and released on the Audio Mobile label in 1970.
Being a die hard Parrothead, I searched for many, many years for this record, to be the "Holy Grail" of my JB collection. I found one on ebay once, (used) about 7 years ago, but got outbid at over $424.00. To say this item is rare is an understatement, and would be the ultimate Parrothead Christmas present!!!!
I am being forced to "downsize" now, due to space limitations, and have to get rid of a few things. PLUS, I am also including a copy of "Hits are our Business", by The Now Generation. Who? you ask? Jimmy was with this REALLY cheesy cover-band in the late 60's. He is on the cover, (far right), but not listed in the credits. It is still sealed in the original wrapper.
I am also throwing in a copy of Jimmy's first LP., "Down to Earth", (1970) AND his 2nd LP., High Cumberland Jubilee", (1971), both in protective plastic sleeves. (see photos).
As if that weren't enough, I am also throwing in 3 hand signed Bob Masse Parrotstock prints, and a bunch of unused Buffett Backstage passed from past tours. (See photos).
I really, honestly hate to part with these things, and hope there is a die-hard Bubba Freak out there who would like to round out their collection, and give them a good home.
I cannot accept returns, (like I said, I am downsizing, and, someone might actually PLAY the 45, and it would no longer be "MINT").
