Description

This is a near mint condition, extremely rare Jimi Hendrix Experience "Hey Joe" 45. It was issued by Reprise Records U.S. in 1967. This single has "Hey Joe" on the a-side and "51ST Anniversary" on the b-side. The label is a standard red and brown Reprise Records. There are no stickers or writing on the label. This record comes in a excellent condition, very rare picture sleeve. The same photo of Hendrix appears on both sides of the sleeve. There is some very minor ring wear, but it does not take away from the over all appearance of the sleeve. It has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1967. This was the band's first U.S. release and both the record and sleeve are very collectable items. A great piece of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia.
