THIS LP CAME FROM A COLLECTION OF 60'S LP'S THAT I PICKED UP A FEW MONTHS AGO ALL OF WHICH WERE BOUGHT AS ORIGINAL RELEASES IN THE 1960'S BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER. INITIALLY I DIDN'T REALISE JUST HOW RARE THIS LP WAS (I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ANOTHER HENDRIX COMPILATION LP!!), BUT FOLLOWING THE RESPONSE I HAVE HAD IN THE FIRST FEW HOURS OF THE AUCTION I HAVE FOUND OUT THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE LP:-
"Electric Jimi Hendrix is the rare original UK Track records WITHDRAWN 9-track LP. This was scheduled for release solely to UK record clubs in late 1971 as a 'teaser' album for the double LP release but only a few hundred copies were ever issued. Finding regular copies of this legendary item in any condition is near impossible, this must be the ultimate Jimi collectable!".
