This NEAR MINT UK 1st mono pressing dates from initial May 1967 release on the black & silver Track Record label: 612 001
Matrix numbers: 612001 A 1 & 612001 B 1
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed in front (only) laminated 'Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd' printed cover, complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate pair showing no more than 2/3 tiny spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine and are free from any scuffs scratches or indeed any surface wear in strong daylight. Even closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp fails to reveal anything more than some extremely faint paper hairlines consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its inner-sleeve. Both sides of this treasured copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing and will not require upgrading.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly been barely played and as a result the sound quality is perfectly clean, clear and unworn throughout. My single careful play-check at volume detected no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or background interference on or between any of these explosive tracks and certainly no clicks, pops or ticks. In fact, apart from a hint of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is nothing to fault on this archive copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
The front panel of this outstanding example is richly coloured, retaining a perfect unscratched laminate with just a single 'thumbnail' and a few light edge wrinkles. There is no storage rubbing/ring-wear to any part or even a single spine bend.
There is a small bruise to the lower right corner but all others and both opening edges are clean, sharp and unworn. The exposed unlaminated rear panel is perfectly clean and unyellowed and free from any storage rubbing or blemishes of any kind.
Both seams are smooth with no flaking laminate and no signs of any stresses or splits.
The delicate spine is perfectly clean, white and fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some light storage bends, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
