Description
WELCOME! This is a limited edition original copy of the Jimi Hendrix Experience 8LP Box Set. It includes the 40-page booklet, and also includes an advance press kit announcing the release that was sent from the label to music stores/owners. (The owner of the store where I bought it gave me the press kit as a bonus for being one of his best customers.) It has always been stored upright with other vinyl in a climate-controlled, non-smoking environment.
GRADING: I have graded this copy to best of my ability using the Goldmine Grading Guide and my experience as a collector. I am not a professional record appraiser, so use your best judgement based on the photos and the following details...
Outer Box: VG+
The outer box is in great condition with no splits in the cardboard. The embossed lettering shows some minor shelf wear, and the purple velvet finish has some minor shelf wear on the corners and edges. The back of the box has some noticeable shelf wear (see photo #4), hence the conservative VG+ grading.
Booklet & Inner Sleeves: EX
The booklet and inner sleeves have been handled very rarely and are nearly flawless.
Vinyl: EX
Records 1 & 2 have been played only once, and there are very minor scuffs from the inner sleeves. Records 3-8 are untouched.
